Dockrad Records are proud to announce the release of the multilingual rap and electronica band Y Diwygiad (The Reformation) ‘s first album, entitled “Hymn 808”, which will be released in Wales on November 10, 2008 and in the rest of the UK and the world at the start of 2009.
Mr Phormula (Ed Holden) and 9Tonne (Aneirin Karadog) have worked with a number of different artists on the album, including from the producer and artist from Los Angeles, Daedelus (Ninja Tune / Mush Records), members of the Headcase Ladz, Lews Tewns, Cofi Bach and Tew Shady, Hoax Emcee, Dybl-L and others. The band’s first release, The Reformation EP, had a great response, and this is what was said:

The band travelled to Los Angeles in the states to record a couple of tracks with Daedelus (www.myspace.com/daedelusdarling), and you are able to see the story of the trip on S4C’s Bandit programme on November 6th. The album is released in Wales on November 10th 2008, and to the rest of the UK and the world in February 2009, when it will be available internationally with some international gigs too.
